The biggest sale from Antiquorum on December 8th

For those of you who are familiar with the high end watch world, Antiquorum held their final auction of 2010 in New York City. There was millions of dollars worth of watches for sale with the highlights being:

1) A Vacheron Constantin Saint-Gervais Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar with a 250 hour power reserver
2) Set of 6 F.P Journe watches that come as a set
3) Greubel Forsey 30* Tourbillon
4) Platinum A. Lange & Sohne Double Split Chrono
5) The Rolex GMT Master worn by Don Walsh in the Triste when it went into the Marina Trench


Below was the highlight of the auction: The Vacheron Constantin Saint-Gervais Tourbillon. It is an absolutely tremendous watch with a full perpetual calendar and open heart tourbillon. The movement carries Vacheron's caliber 2250 hand wind movement bearing the Seal of Geneva, which is an honor held by movements made within a very strict set of guidelines. The movement is housed in a 44 mm platinum case with blued steel hands. Amazing.
